ASTORIA, QUEENS — The NYPD is looking for five people who beat up a man last month on an Astoria street corner.

The 30-year-old man told police his five attackers approached him about 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, at the corner of Steinway Street and 28th Avenue, then started swinging punches.

The man went to Weill Cornell Hospital in stable condition, according to the police.

Over the weekend, the NYPD released surveillance images of five suspects and asked the public to share any information about the men by calling the 114th precinct at 718-626-9311.
