Man Nabs $5,000, Cigarette Packs From Astoria Smoke Shop: NYPD
The NYPD is asking for help finding the man who broke into an Astoria smoke shop Thursday and stole $5,000 and cartons of cigarettes.
ASTORIA, QUEENS — A man broke into an Astoria smoke shop and made off with $5,000 from the cash register and nine cartons of cigarettes, according to the police.
The robbery played out just before 5 a.m. Thursday at Tobacco-N-Vape at 33-18 31st Ave., police said.
Over the weekend, the NYPD released surveillance footage of a man they want to identify and question about the burglary.
