The corner is just feet away from Solletto, the bar on Steinway Street where 27-year-old school safety officer Mye Johnson was shot and killed in March while celebrating her birthday. Police arrested 29-year-old Quasawn Williams in connection with the shooting, which also wounded two other people.
The suspect in Tuesday's shooting is described only as a man wearing a black hoodie, black hat and blue jeans, police said.
