Man Struck And Killed By 7 Train At Queensboro Plaza

The man was staggering on the subway platform​ before he fell onto the tracks Sunday night, according to one news report.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A man died after falling onto the tracks and getting hit by a train at Queensboro Plaza on Sunday night, according to police and a news report.

The 30-year-old man was staggering on the subway platform before he fell onto the tracks about 11 p.m., the Queens Post reported.

He was hit by a Manhattan-bound 7 train as it pulled into the station, according to an NYPD spokesperson.

By the time first responders arrived, the man was dead, police said.

He has not been identified.
