ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who attacked a reveler with a chair during a New Year's celebration in Astoria.

A 32-year-old man was inside the sports bar Twist and Smash'd about 3:30 a.m. Jan. 1 when the unidentified man came up behind him and struck him with a metal chair, according to the police.

The victim fell to the floor and hit his head, and the attacker fled the Steinway Street bar, police said.

The NYPD on Thursday released surveillance images of the suspect, who's still at large more than a month after the assault.
