The New York Times is moving 350 employees from Times Square to Long Island City, reports say.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — The New York Times is moving 350 employees from Times Square to Queens.

The Times signed a 15-year lease for three full floors at Court Square Place in Long Island City, according to the New York Post. The office space rents for $50 per foot.

The newspaper company's move makes it eligible for REAP tax breaks, which go to businesses that relocate jobs from Manhattan to the outer boroughs.

Court Square Place, located at 24-01 44th Rd., will hit 100-percent occupancy with its new tenant, according to the Post.

The Times' 58,000 square feet of space was previously home to the United Nations while it renovated its main campus, according to the Post.
