Newborn Baby Found Dead In Long Island City Hotel Room: NYPD

The infant and her 35-year-old mother were found in a Days Inn hotel room on Wednesday night, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS -- Police are investigating the death of a newborn baby after she was found unconscious in a Long Island City hotel room Wednesday night, police said.

Cops responding to a 911 call found the unconscious infant with her 35-year-old mother inside a Days Inn on Queens Boulevard at around 7:40 p.m.

Medics performed CPR on the baby girl and rushed her to Elmhurst General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
