Pedestrian Punch Lands Queens Driver In Serious Condition: Cops
A Queens driver was punched in the head last month by a pedestrian passing in front of his car, police said.

SUNNYSIDE, QUEENS -- A 64-year-old driver was seriously injured by a teen pedestrian who reached in through his window and punched him in the head, according to police.
The driver started arguing with two pedestrians at a red light on the intersection of Queens Boulevard and 43rd Street at about 5:25 p.m. on Oct. 2, police said.
The argument turned violent when one teen reached in through the open car window and punched the driver, said police.

The two then fled on foot eastbound on Queens Boulevard, police said.
The 64-year-old refused medical attention at the scene but, two weeks later, he was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital in Flushing and treated for a serious head injury resulting from the fight, said police.

Police released descriptions and photos of the two teenaged suspects on Sunday. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the NYPD.
