ASTORIA, QUEENS — After a four-month recess, a beloved Italian ice cream shop on 30th Street will reopen its doors as warmer weather approaches.

Four other locations also opened on Mar. 1 as part of their spring opening. Ralph’s Ice Cream in Yorkville, New York; Upper East Side, New York; Old Bridge, New Jersey; and Island Park, Long Island are open for business.
The popular ice cream shop first opened its Astoria location in 2021, adding to the dozens of shops in New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey.

The original Ralph’s Ice Cream was started in 1949 on Port Richmond Avenue in Staten Island by Italian immigrant Ralph Silvestro, according to their website.
