Robbers Target Astoria, Jamaica Straphangers On NYC Train: NYPD
Two robbers threatened to shoot a 23-year-old man and tried to steal a 40-year-old man's wallet, police said.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Two men were robbed while one was riding the F train in Astoria and the other in Jamaica on Saturday, police said.
Two robbers threatened to shoot a 23-year-old man onboard a northbound F train approaching the 46 Street Station and took his wallet with credit cards and ID before fleeing about 3:30 a.m. on March 18, the NYPD said.
About 40 minutes later, the robbers asked a 40-year-old man if he had the time before demanding his wallet onboard a northbound F train approaching the Parsons Boulevard Station, authorities said.

The 40-year-old tried to walk away, but the robbers grabbed the man’s back pants pockets, causing his clothing to rip, and his wallet fell on the floor, cops said.
All three men started to fight and the robbers fled without the wallet after the train arrived at the station, with the 40-year-old sustaining minor injuries, police said.

One of the robbers was last seen wearing a green jacket, a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers, while the other was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the PUMA logo on the front, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers, the NYPD said.
