LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Two subway riders attacked a man on a 7 train in Queens, then punched a woman who started recording the encounter.
A 39-year-old man was riding the train about 1 p.m. Monday when a fellow commuter yelled, "What are you looking at?" and threatened to "beat the s---" out of him, then started punching the man in the face, according to an NYPD spokesperson and the sibling of the woman who filmed the attack.
The woman hit record just as the attacker grabbed the man's phone and threw it to the ground, yelling, "Go buy a new one."

The attacker, who was with another woman, followed the man to the other side of the subway car and spotted her filming, the video shows. The woman asked why she was recording and told her to delete the video.
The duo started beating up the woman filming, then ran off the train at Queensboro Plaza, according to police.
