Suspect Arrested In Deadly Woodside Stabbing; Victim ID'd By Police
A man fatally stabbed his Maspeth neighbor on a Woodside street corner earlier this week, according to police.

WOODSIDE, QUEENS — Police have arrested a suspect in this week's fatal stabbing on a Woodside street corner, also identifying the victim as a 55-year-old Queens man.
Olmedo Osorio was charged with murder in connection with Monday's killing of Freddy Jimenez police said.
Both men lived just a few blocks away from each other in Maspeth, police said.

Police responding to a report of a stabbing found Jimenez shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday on the corner of 69th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, with a stab wound to the torso, police said.
He was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Queens, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Besides the murder charge, Osorio was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
