Teenager Stabbed, Robbed Outside Astoria McDonald's, Police Say

Police are looking for three people accused of stabbing a 15-year-old and taking his cell phone outside the Astoria McDonald's on Monday.

The 15-year-old victim was outside the McDonald's on 21st Street and 31st Drive around 4 p.m. Tuesday, when the unidentified suspects grabbed his cell phone and stabbed him in the buttocks with a "cutting instrument," police said.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A group of people stabbed and robbed a teen boy outside an Astoria McDonald's Monday afternoon, according to police, who asked for help identifying three suspects.

The 15-year-old victim was outside the McDonald's on 21st Street and 31st Drive around 4 p.m. Tuesday, when the unidentified suspects grabbed his cell phone and stabbed him in the buttocks with a "cutting instrument," police said.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction, while the teenager was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police on Tuesday released photos appearing to show three different suspects, and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
