Thieves Punch Woman For Her Headphones On Astoria Train: NYPD
The trio clocked the 18-year-old aboard an R train while snatching a pair of Beats headphones off her head, police say.
ASTORIA, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a trio of thieves who punched a woman in the head and stole her Beats headphones aboard an R train in Astoria.
The 18-year-old woman was riding the train into the 46 Street subway station on March 28 at around 11:40 p.m. when three men approached her and snatched the pricey headphones off her head, hitting her in the process, cops said.
The thieves hopped off the subway and fled the station down 49 Street toward Northern Boulevard, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance footage of the men on Friday, who cops estimate ranged in age from 18 to 25.
