Woman Found Dead Inside Astoria Home: NYPD
EMS workers showed up at an Astoria home Wednesday to help an 80-year-old man, then found a dead woman inside, according to police.
ASTORIA, QUEENS — EMS workers showed up at an Astoria home Wednesday to help an 80-year-old man, then ended up discovering a dead woman inside, according to police.
First responders were met with a "combative" man when they showed up about 9 p.m. at a home on 32nd Street near 24th Avenue, in the words of the NYPD.
That's when they found the woman, who was unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS brought the man to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment and evaluation.
The medical examiner's office is investigating how the woman died.
