Babylon Resident Named Publisher of Runner's World & Running Times

Molly O'Keefe will be the head publisher for two of the biggest running magazines.

A Babylon Village resident has been named the new publisher for sporting magazines Runner's World and Running Times.

Molly O'Keefe, an 18-year resident of the village, will take the helm of the two running magazines, both of which run under Rodale Inc.

O'Keefe has been an employee with Rodale for over 11 years, and had been most recently named Associate Publisher for Runner's World and Running Times in 2008.

“Molly embodies the spirit and energy of the Runner’s World brand and brings a deep knowledge of this marketplace to her new position," said SVP/Group Publisher Chris Lambiase. "With a more targeted focus on the brand, I think we’ll see even better business results out of the blocks."

According to a release, Runner's World achieved record revenue years in both 2010 and 2011 before starting its own branded road race in 2012 in Bethlehem, PA.
