BABYLON, NY — Only a few paces from the Babylon Long Island Railroad station stands a true hidden gem.

NZ Grei Cafe and Bakery, located at 134 N Carll Ave., serves authentic, homemade Mexican food, where customers can enjoy fresh tamales, tacos and Mexican dishes made "with love and fresh ingredients."

Their shrimp tacos in particular, we found, are perfectly cooked to provide a crisp bite, while maintaining a mouth-watering flavor. Paired with radish and salsa, it makes one leave as a satisfied customer.

While the store's banner remains sleek and black on the outside, the restaurant's interior contrasts with bright colors, with papel picados hung from the ceiling.

An experience at NZ Grei Cafe and Bakery is aesthetically pleasing as its food is delicious.
