Here's what you need to know before you cast your ballot in Babylon.

BABYLON, NY — Babylon Village residents will head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the 2023 to 2024 school budget vote and school board candidate election.

Carol Dell’Erba (incumbent), Linda Jurs (Incumbent), Robert Verdi and Catherine Wieland are the four candidates running for the board of education's three open seats.

Residents will also vote on the Capital Reserve Expenditure. According to the district's website, the expenditure will be no cost to the taxpayer, allow the district to use $1.2 million from its capital reserve account, and authorize safety/ security upgrades at the elementary schools.
Polling will take place at Babylon High School East Gymnasium from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
