TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — Black, a "happy" 3-year-old pit bull terrier, is Babylon Animal Shelter's First Adoptable Pet of 2023.
"Black came to us when his owner lost their home," the shelter said. "He absolutely loves his one on one time with his shelter friends, he is a sweetie and thrives on attention."
Black is described as a happy boy, who he enjoys his walks and time to run in the big yard.

His previous owner has described him as being selective to the guests visiting the home and would need to be monitored for that specific behavior.
"Black loves to chase after a ball and a pool of water is in high demand for this guy," the shelter said. "Black knows sit, down, come and stay. If you have treats, Black will give you more attention and really show off his skills!"

This pup previously lived with female dogs. If you are interested in adopting Black, a meet and greet at the shelter is recommended.
