Suffolk Community College Students Beautify Venetian Shores
Community Service Club helped to keep beachfront clean from trash and fixed up other parts in past month.

A group of college students attending Suffolk County Community College helped pitched in this past month to beautify Venetian Shores Park in Lindenhurst.
According to town spokesman Kevin Bonner, the six students participated in Babylon Town's Adopt-a-Park initiative with the college's Community Service Club.
The club worked to remove litter and refuse from the park while fixing up damaged items throughout the park.
The Adopt-a-Park program is a part of the town's Beautification Program and encourages residents of all ages to take part in keeping neighborhood parks, community beaches and playgrounds clean and beautiful.
The club was later commended by Town Councilman Tony Martinez for their dedication to the park and beachfront's well being.
