Town Councilwoman Gordon Honored by State Senate
State senators honor councilwoman for public service as elected official and army reservist.

Town of Babylon Councilwoman Jacqueline Gordon was honored as a "Woman of Distinction" by the New York State Senate earlier this month.
Councilwoman Gordon was presented a plaque by state Senator Charles Fuschillo to commemorate the event.
The award was previously displayed in the state capitol at Albany and recognized Gordon's continued service an elected official and member of the armed forces.
Gordon served the nation overseas as a member of the United States Army Reserves for nearly thirty years. She returned to Long Island after serving in Afghanistan last year.
