West Babylon's Casey, Siefert Get Into the Zone

West Babylon seniors Megan Casey and Kevin Siefert were the school’s winners for the Suffolk Zone Leadership Award, announced at a ceremony Dec. 2 at the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch in Hauppauge.

The honor, which is given to students by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation, salutes a male and female student from each high school in Suffolk County. The criteria includes exceptional performance in physical education, scholarship, leadership qualities as well as service to their community.
