Boat Thieves Busted For Bayside Marina Heist: Police
Two people were arrested Monday morning after they stole a boat at Bayside Marina, police said.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Two Bayside boat thieves tried to sail away Monday with a vessel that wasn't theirs, only to get busted by the cops, according to police.
The thieves were arrested at the Bayside Marina dockage space at 28-05 Cross Island Parkway about 8 a.m., the NYPD said.
Police did not release the names of the suspects or specify the make of the boat, but an image shared with Patch from the scene shows it was a motor boat.
