
Mayor Mike Bloomberg announced that alternative side parking would be again be suspended on Thursday, Dec. 30 for snow removal.
At 6:31 p.m. on Wed., Bloomberg tweeted that approximately 99 percent of the highest priority streets had been plowed, 86 percent of secondary streets, and 66 percent of tertiary roads had been cleaned of snow.
Bayside Patch on Wed. morning that while the Bronx and Manhattan had been entirely plowed by Tuesday, many tertiary roads in Queens and Brooklyn, as well as Flushing thoroughfare Parsons Blvd., remained unplowed.
