BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Residents of a Bayside co-op building have been living without gas access for eight months, according to a news report.
At Bay Terrace Co-op Section XII on 23rd Avenue, tenants said they have been without gas service in their kitchens since the start of the year, Fox5 New York reported.
The dryers in the building's laundry room, which run on natural gas, have not been working either, according to the Fox5 report.

Management company The Lovett Group told Fox5 they turned off the service after a gas leak in January and planned to send plumbers and engineers into each apartment for a review, but had to put the work on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Repairs wrapped up last week, Fox5 reported. Now, the Department of Buildings needs to inspect the property before Con Edison can restore gas service.
