Bayside Historical Society to Host Bee Event, Lawn Concert
Annual concert will include country, rock 'n' roll performances.
The Bayside Historical Society will host an event involving bees and lawn concert in late June.
The Buzz About Bees will take place at 2 p.m. on June 23. Master Bee Keeper Walter Blohm will discuss the role bees play in our food supply and colony collapse disease.
If weather permits, attendees will be able to visit bee hives at Fort Totten's castle. The suggested donation for the event is $5.
The historical society's annual lawn concert will begin at 6 p.m. on June 30.
Savannah Sky will perform country music, while Rear View Mirror will play rock 'n roll.
The historical society is located at 208 Totten Ave. in Fort Totten.
