BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Officials have named a stretch of Northern Boulevard in Bayside after the late Chief Howard Haider, who spent decades serving in the U.S. Military.
Northern Boulevard between 207th Street and the northbound Clearview Expressway will be co-named "CW5 Howard C. Haider Way" to honor his legacy as the first to achieve the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Five in the state.
