7 Hurt In Blaze At Bayside Luxury Condo, FDNY Says
Seven people were injured after a fire erupted in a luxury condo in Bayside Terrace early Tuesday morning, the FDNY said.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Seven people were hurt in a luxury condominium fire in Bay Terrace early Tuesday morning, according to the FDNY.
Flames erupted at The Bay Club, an upscale apartment complex at 2 Bay Club Drive near The Bay Terrace Shopping Center, about 12:20 a.m., fire officials said.
The fire began on the 15th floor of the 21-story building, according to the FDNY.

Two civilians and five firefighters were hospitalized, according to the FDNY. Fire officials didn't say how serious the injuries were or what caused the fire.
Videos posted on the safety app Citizen show flames billowing from a residential window as fire trucks crowded the base of the building.

Firefighters got the blaze under control by 1:25 a.m., fire officials said.
