Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation At Prep School Near Bayside: NYPD
This is reportedly the second time this year that the Catholic school has faced violent threats, which weren't credible in either instance.

QUEENS, NY — A high school on the border of Bayside was evacuated Monday morning after a bomb threat, according to the NYPD.
Police rushed to Saint Francis Preparatory School, a Catholic college preparatory high school near Bayside, at about 11 a.m. after receiving notice of a possible bomb threat, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Law enforcement officials helped evacuate the school and started searching for a possible bomb, but ultimately did not find any kind of threatening device, according to police.

Police from the local precinct urged drivers to avoid the area "due to an investigation," noting that surrounding streets are closed.
This isn't the first time this year that the prestigious prep school has faced violent threats: In January, multiple shooting and bombing threats against the school were posted to social media, prompting classes to be held remotely for a couple of days, according to a report.
An investigation, though, reportedly determined that the threats weren't credible.
