The Bayside Historical Society's staff and volunteers are offering guided tours of The Castle and its exhibitions on the second Sunday of each month from 1pm-3pm. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes; two tours are offered, with the first beginning at 1:00 PM and the second at 2:00 PM. Admission is free, but reservations are required. The Castle in Fort Totten is one of New York City's finest surviving examples of Gothic Revival castellated-style architecture. Completed in 1887, the building originally served as the Officers' Mess Hall and Club for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers School of Application. Come explore this architectural treasure in Bayside and learn more about its fascinating history.

North Shore Symphony Orchestra Concert “Flights of Fancy”

The Korean Traditional Music &amp; Dance Center’s (KTMDC) Dance Group returns to the BHS&nbsp;Castle in Fort Totten with a dynamic program celebrating the depth and diversity of Korea's cultural heritage. Audiences will be treated to a vibrant showcase of traditional dances, rhythmic performances, and expressive choreographies that highlight centuries-old artistic traditions.
About the Artists: Founded in 1987, the Korean Traditional Music and Dance Center of New York (KTMDC) is the oldest established Korean performing arts organization in New York City. KTMDC specializes in teaching and performing Korean traditional music and dance. By doing so, we strive to play the role of an unofficial diplomat, and share and preserve Korea's rich and vibrant culture with Korean-Americans as well as the surrounding community.
