City Pools Open on June 28
It's time to dust off your swimming trunks for the summer.
If you're looking for a place to take a quick dip (or even a long, drawn-out swim), New Yorkers need look no further than the city's 54 public pools, which open on June 28.
The borough of Queens is home to 10 of the city's pools. There are the two pools at , of course.
Residents of Bayside also have easy access to Flushing Meadows Corona Park Pool and Rink as well as Castlewood Playground, which, though somewhat smaller than its Flushing counterpart, is conveniently located on Little Neck Parkway and 72nd Avenue.
