Firefighter Arrested For Drunk Driving In Bayside: NYPD

Police arrested the 28-year-old off-duty firefighter after he allegedly crashed into a parked car.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS -- An off-duty FDNY firefighter was arrested for drunk driving this weekend after he crashed into a parked car in Bayside, police said.

Daniel McDougall, 28, was driving his 2008 Honda Fit down 43rd Avenue on Sunday when he crashed into the parked car near 221 Street just before 1 a.m., cops said.

Responding officers determined McDougall has been drinking, but the firefighter refused to take a breathalyzer test.

He was charged with DWI and refusing to take the test.
