FIVE THINGS: In Protest of SOPA

1. NYDN reported that may be coming to Forest Hills.

2. Wikipedia will not be operable today in protest of a new bill that seeks to shut down certain internet sites. Baysider Rob Trimarco, who had never written for any outlet before, was moved to write a blog post for us, explaining why . Following a public outcry, President Obama has said that he will not support the bill.

3. Gov. Cuomo says overhauling public employee pensions would save the City $30 Billion over 30 years, and the state a separate $83 Billion, reports NYP. What he wants to do is raise the retirement age from 62 to 65, and increase employee contributions, to create 401-K style plan.
