Friday: Library Programs for the Kids, Latin Music and Dancing for Adults

The Bayside Library will host two programs for children today. A tween workshop will kick off at 1 p.m. The program, which is aimed at grades four through eight, includes crafts and activities. Space is limited.

Book Buddies will begin at the library at 4 p.m. This class, which is for kindergarten through third grade students, aims to improve literacy. No registration is required, but space is limited.

The library is located at 214-20 Northern Blvd. in Bayside.

For adults, the Bay Terrace Country Club’s Bayview Dance Club will offer live Latin music and dancing at 7 p.m. The cover charge is $5.
