GameStop Set to Open Soon in Little Neck Plaza

A new video game store is slated to open in Little Neck Plaza by the end of summer, workers told Patch on Wednesday.

The space, which formerly housed the , has been thoroughly gutted in preparation for the new retail space.

The Little Neck Luncheonette in February with little fanfare -- the reason behind the diner's closing was never publicly announced.

Workers have been hammering away at the interior of the space for the past couple of months, and are finally nearing the end of the job.

In the meantime, gaming enthusiasts have plenty of options. The chain has a number of stores in and around Queens, the closest location being in Bayside. For a list of GameStops near you, click here.
