Great Escape: Butterfly Garden Spa

It looks like an igloo is situated in the center of Butterfly Garden Spa in Great Neck, but actually the little enclosure is a “Rejuvenation Room” sauna, with Himalayan Crystal Salt walls and Jade flooring.

This is the kind of escape you want to bring friends to. One of the message rooms is designed for two simultaneous massages, which are $65 for an hour, or $110 for 90 minutes.

One of the masseurs will crack you’re your joints for you, and hop up and walk on your back, Patch heard. We recommend the Swedish—and to tell them that straight off the bat, since one of our masseurs was more inclined to Shiatsu.

A pedicure stands at a pricey $40, but includes a leg and foot massage. Their nail polish doesn’t flake in five days, like some lower end nail parlors. The treatment lasted for weeks.
