1. will soon be opening its doors in Little Neck Plaza, taking the place of the defunct Little Neck Luncheonette, which mysteriously shuttered in February. 

2. An arrest was made in the murder of an 8-year-old Brooklyn boy who disappeared while he was walking home from camp. Levi Aaron, 35, was tracked down by investigators after video surveillance footage showed the lost boy approach him on Monday.

3. U.S. Rep. Gary Ackerman, D-Bayside, has thrown his support behind state Assemblyman David Weprin’s bid for Anthony Weiner’s seat. Read the full story here.
