Monday
The Douglaston Little Neck Library will hold its knitting and crocheting club at 4 p.m. The Bayside Library will offer its Chess Club at 6 p.m.

Tuesday
There will be a first-time homebuyers seminar at 6 p.m. at the Samuel Field Y’s Bay Terrace Center. A panel of experts, including lawyers, accountants and mortgage specialists, will speak during the event.

Wednesday
The Douglaston Little Neck Library will host Sign, Read and Play, a workshop for children that combines sign language skills and storytelling. The event begins at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday
An Elvis Presley impersonator will play at the Bay Terrace Country Club’s Bayview Dance Club on Thursday night. There will be a $5 admission fee.
