Long-Awaited JMart Opens Its Doors In Little Neck

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — JMart, a Queens-based Asian supermarket, officially opened its doors on Monday after the company purchased the former Stop & Shop site in Little Neck.

JMart welcomed customers for the first time on Monday at 24926 Northern Blvd., finalizing an era of speculation of its opening timeline.

Patch first reported on JMart's establishment in January 2022 after Stop & Shop shuttered in 2021 amid financial woes.

JMart's two other sites are located in Flushing and Brooklyn.

The supermarket offers hard-to-find fruits from Southeast Asia and seafood, as well as Asian snacks. Shoppers can find products from China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and other countries.
