BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A local flower shop employee rushed into traffic Thursday morning to rescue a lost white poodle whose owner she's desperately trying to find.
Lisa Solomon rescued the little white dog as he ran down the street along 47th Avenue near Weeks Lane on her way to work on Thursday morning.
Solomon brought the terrified pup to Garden World — the flower shop on 46th Avenue where she works — and has spent the day doing everything she can think of to find his owner.

Solomon and Garden World manager Diane Stuckey have been quizzing customers, hanging flyers and posting photos of the lost pooch all over Facebook, Stuckey told Patch.
The two women even tried taking the pup - who doesn't have a collar - to a local clinic to try to find a tag or any identifying marks, but without success.

No one had come forward to claim the pup as of Thursday afternoon, Stuckey said.
Stuckey and Solomon will likely take the dog home for the night if no one claims it by the end of the day, Stuckey said.
"We've had a couple people that are willing to take him if nobody claims him," Stuckey said. "So we'll see what happens."
Stuckey asked anyone with information on the dog's owner to call Garden World at 718-224-6789.
