Man Beaten With Gun In Bloody $4K Robbery In Queens: NYPD Video
A man with $4,200 in his pocket was knocked the ground and beaten by an armed robber in Queens, according to police.
QUEENS, NY — A man with more than $4,000 in his pocket was attacked by a robber who beat him with a gun and stole his cash, according to the NYPD.
The 24-year-old was walking home near 218th Street and 89th Avenue in Queens Village when the suspect smashed him in the head with a gun, police said.
Video shows the attacker repeatedly hitting the 24-year-old, pushing him into a fence and onto the ground, then continuing to beat him.

The 24-year-old grabbed onto his attacker but was unable to stop him from taking about $4,200 from his jacket pocket and running off, according to police and video of the robbery.
First responders rushed the 24-year-old to nearby hospital where he was treated for cuts on his head, according to the NYPD.

The NYPD released photos and video of a suspect, but no arrests had been made as of Saturday, police said.
