Bayside Burglar Wanted By Police

The break-in happened July 4 shortly before dawn.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are asking for public assistance in identifying a man who they say broke into a Bayside home on 201st Street between 32nd and 33rd Avenues.

Police say the suspect entered the home through an open side window around 4:49 a.m. on July 4 and stole $200.

The man is described as 5-foot-10 with black hair and an unknown eye color, according to police. He was last seen driving a 1996 Toyota RAV 4.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the NYPD Detective Squad at (718) 279-5282 or the Detective Borough of Queens at (718) 520-9200.
