End of the world fails to materialize... for now

Welcome to the weekend, Little Neck!

Luckily for those looking forward to a relaxing couple of days of rest, the end of days predicted by a U.S. preacher to begin promptly at 6 p.m. Saturday failed to pass for the inhabitants of New Zealand — the first place on earth scheduled to experience what has been billed as the "global earthquake."

Oh well. I suppose there is always next year.
