May 7-8: Cleaning Up Udalls Cove

Preservation group holds annual meeting and restoration effort Saturday

Welcome to the weekend, Little Neck! Today marks the 42nd time residents of Douglaston and Little Neck have taken matters into their own hands and made sure that our greenspaces remain a treasure for everyone in the neighborhood to use.

There's still time to join the Udalls Cove Preservation Committee at Virginia Point this morning as members and volunteers look to continue to restore a section of the park .

Trash bags will be provided. Participants are advised to wear long pants and sturdy shoes or boots. There will be a picnic lunch provided near Aurora Pond in Douglaston at noon.
