Meng Rings NASDAQ Opening Bell

U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, D-Flushing, one of New York's freshman Congress members, rang the opening bell on NASDAQ's trading floor in Times Square Monday morning. 

Meng, a member of the House Small Business Committee, said she was honored to be invited.

“Ringing the opening bell was a tremendous honor,” Meng said, “and I thank the NASDAQ for inviting me.”
