Mexican Cantina To Open In Bayside This November
Tacuba Cantina Mexicana is slated to open a spot off of Bell Boulevard this November, marking its third location in the city.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A popular Mexican cantina with an outpost in Astoria is expanding further into Queens this fall.
Tacuba Cantina Mexicana, a Mexican-centric restaurant serving up pan Latin fare and drinks, is slated to open a Bayside location at 213-41 39 Avenue this November, Gotham Mag reported.
The outpost off of Bell Boulevard, which will replace a now-shuttered French bistro, will be Tacuba’s third location in New York City, alongside restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen and Astoria.

Tacuba’s taco-centric menu is expected to stay in place at the Bayside location, along with a host of shareable appetizers and main dishes, Gotham reported.
All of Tacuba’s tacos are made on handmade tortillas, including ones with “more adventurous” flavors, like octopus, according to Eater. The food site also praised Tacuba’s drink menu, which is “heavy on the margaritas, tequilas, and mezcals.”
