BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A Mexican restaurant in Bayside is celebrating a grand opening event two months after officially opening its doors to the public.
Avo Taco, a Mexican chain, is celebrating the opening of its third location nationwide on Monday, Jan. 9 at Bay Terrace Shopping Center.
The event will have free samples from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., live music, and giveaways.

The restaurant, with two other location ins New Hyde Park and New Orleans, is located at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center on the upper level next to Dunkin’ Donuts.
The restaurant officially opened its doors in November 2022 as part of its "soft opening."
