Whether it's ragtime, or a challenging game of chess, opportunities abound for residents looking to try something new

At Little Neck Patch, we're pursuing so many news stories, events and announcements it's hard to believe that this website was literally born yesterday.

So to celebrate we've reported on a slate of stories that Little Neck residents are talking about, as well as happenings in our area ranging from a to the synchopated rythyms of ragtime.

1. From the attendees at community meetings to commuters headed to the New York City Marathon last weekend, Little Neck Patch fielded an this week from residents about traffic chaos at Little Neck Parkway and the Long Island Railroad tracks.
