Pedestrian Taken To Hospital After Getting Hit By Bayside Driver: FDNY
The pedestrian was hit at a Bayside intersection near two churches and a playground, according to fire officials.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Friday morning after getting hit by a driver in Bayside, fire officials said.
It happened about 8 a.m. at 211 Street and 46th Avenue, according to the FDNY. There are two churches and a playground at the intersection, maps show.
The pedestrian — whose gender and age were unknown — was taken to a nearby hospital, according to the fire department.

FDNY officials couldn't say what condition the pedestrian was in when they were taken to the hospital.
