'Peter and the Wolf,' First Responders Night Highlight Week Ahead in NE Queens

Monday
The Bayside-Whitestone Lions Club will hold First Responders Night at 7 p.m. at Trattoria 35, located at 213-15 35th Ave. The event will include raffle prizes, dinner, dessert and drinks. Tickets at the door are $65.
Wednesday
Northeast Queens for Action will hold a phone bank that will focus on cuts to SNAP. The event will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees will find out where it is taking place once they register.
Friday
New Jersey's Pushcart Players will perform "Peter and the Wolf" at 10 a.m. at Queensborough Community College's performing arts center, located at 222-05 56th ave. in Bayside.
Sunday
The Samuel Field Y, located at 58-20 Little Neck Parkway, is holding a Thanksgiving meal for persons with disabilities at 1 p.m. A $5 donation, plus a contribution of fresh produce, are suggested.
"Broadway's Next Hit Musical" will perform at Queensborough Community College's performing arts center, located at 222-05 56th Ave., at 3 p.m. Tickets for this improv musical comedy are $25.
